D80+ Documentation
The following documentation materials are available for the D80+ survey:
- the complete Survey Instruments: written questionnaire, CATI instruments for Module 1 and Module 2 (also available in German);
- the Codebook: includes all variables contained in the Scientific Use File, their values and labels, as well as the frequencies of valid and missing responses (available in German only);
- the Methodological Report: explains the sampling procedure, survey implementation, and data collection (available in German only);
- Documentation of the generated and used instruments and variables: describes the procedures used for the construction of scores, scales, and generated variables (also available in German);
- an important note on the interpretation of the age variable alter_int in the D80+ SUF;
- as well as information on the Ethics Approval.
To support the use of the D80+ data, we have prepared a User Manual containing important information on the sample, weighting, data preparation, and the complex survey design. We strongly recommend this guide to all users as a helpful companion. It is also available in German.
