D80+ documentation
For the Old Age in Germany (D 80+) survey, the following documentation objects are available:
- Complete survey instruments: written questionnaire, CATI instruments for Module 1 and Module 2, in both German and English.
- Codebook containing all variables included in the Scientific Use File, their categories and labels, as well as the frequency of valid and missing values, in both German and English.
- Methodological report explaining the sample selection, survey execution, and data collection (available in German only).
- Documentation of instruments and variables describing the procedures for generating scores, scales, and generated variables.
For working with the D80+ data, we have prepared a user manual (German and English) with important information about the sample, weighting, data edition, and the complex survey design, which we highly recommend as an accompanying resource for all users.
