An important task of the DZA is to prepare scientific findings and to provide scientific services for actors in the field of politics for the elderly.
With its social reporting, the DZA prepares scientific findings that have been obtained from the German Ageing Survey, the German Survey on Volunteering and other research projects. The target groups are all actors in the field of politics for the elderly and interested citizens.
In addition the
Office of the Government Reports on Older People and the
Office of the National Dementia Strategy are set up at the DZA.
