The German Centre of Gerontology offers informations services not only for science and social policy, but also for the general public. Besides the library, the main information services are the Research Data Centre of the German Ageing Survey (FDZ-DEAS) and GeroStat, a statistical information system which contains relevant data from official statistics and social and behavioural ageing research.
